Morgan Coghill Earns Back-to-Back Endorsements from Leading Muslim and Palestinian Groups

Mundelein, IL – Morgan Coghill’s campaign for Congress today announces back-to-back endorsements from The Justice Coalition and the Illinois Muslim Action Network, two Illinois-based organizations led by Palestinian and Muslim Americans who have demanded a real voice in U.S. politics.

The endorsements draw a hard line in this race between a campaign built by the people and an incumbent propped up by donor money and AIPAC influence.

For more than two years, Palestinians have endured genocide, famine, and the deaths of thousands of children.

Throughout this period, Brad Schneider, the sitting representative for Illinois’ 10th District, has avoided acknowledging the genocide that unfolded in Gaza.

That silence aligns with a career funded by over $1.3 million in AIPAC-aligned donations and a record of running cover for Netanyahu while civilians were buried under rubble.

Coghill has taken a different path from the first day of his campaign.

He has stood with Muslim families in IL-10, spoken plainly about the genocide in Gaza, and called for accountability and justice without hedging or delay, instead of flying overseas for photo ops and handshakes with a war criminal like Schneider chose to do.

“Communities that were pushed aside are stepping forward together. Justice Coalition and IMAN represent people who understand the cost of silence. Their support sends a message that IL-10 is ready to reject corrupt dark money politics and demand leadership rooted in human dignity,” said Morgan Coghill.

Leaders from both organizations said their endorsement reflects a clear choice about who has earned trust during the last year.

They pointed to Coghill’s willingness to engage directly with Muslim and Palestinian residents and his refusal to soften his position when the political pressure was highest.

Their support brings new voters, organizers, and families into this primary who have long been told their voices did not matter, and it makes clear that this race will be shaped by those who have borne the cost of silence the longest.
